Ingredients 1. Flour tortillas (6 about 12 inch) 2. oil (for frying) 3. grated rind of (2 oranges) 4. cherry pie filling (2 cans about 5 oz) 5. powdered sugar 6. silvered almonds
Method of preparation:- 1. Take pie filling, keep about one cup of pie filling to decorate the top. Take a bowl; mix grated orange rind and the remaining pie filling in it.
2. Place the filling in the center of the tortillas. Then spread almonds on pie filling. Fold the sides in and then roll the tortillas to cover the pie filling. Chimicherrychangas are ready for frying.
3. Take a large frying pan, place it over medium high heat and then heat oil in it. Now put the chimicherrychangas in hot oil to fry. Fry two at a time until they turn golden brown in color. Then drain them on paper towel.
4. Take powdered sugar and sprinkle it over chimicherrychangas and put the left over pie filling on the top and then serve.
