Edit: Added color labels and changed his tail design slightly. Whew.... finally finished this thing.
Finally got my hands on Illustrator again, and decided I needed to make a full reference type pic for my lil Blitz, so here it is. And NO this was not a base.

Overall, I must say you did a very good job on this! You have a very nice OC, and he's got a great design! I've looked over it, and I can't find any errors, it's a very clear vector!
Illustrator is terrific for this kind of thing. I use Xara, so I have to trace the lines as individual shapes themselves ((it's a living hell)), so it should have been easy enough to create this, and the guide you used was very detailed, yet simple to follow.
His cutie mark is quite interesting, very original! I like the idea of a football pony! His color scheme is also terrific, it's extremely eye-catching and yet very simple. I like the way his mane looks, it's different ((in a good way)) from most of the other male OC's I've seen. Great job!
I'd like to see more work like this, as it's very good. Why not try vectoring him doing something a little different, like playing football, or drinking a milkshake?
